Restful APIs
Daraza uses restful APIs to to integrate with client apps. The provided endpoints through these endpoints are simple and easy to integrate, only requiring a few header entities. These are;

Key based transaction
All Daraza transactions can only be carried out with API Key.
These keys are (must) be kept secretive and they are used to authenticate a client, process and verify transactions being carried out. This ensures for security and safety of client apps and transactions

Which payments does Daraza Process?
Daraza currently process only mobile money payments and as of 2024, only MTN Momo and will introduce Airtel payments by the end of the year
What are the requirements for Integrating Daraza Pay?
For Legal Documentation, photographs of National Identity Card, Passport, Registration documents from the office of the Prime Minister(Refugees ) are required for Individual Client Accounts and a copy of memorandum of Certificate of Registration/incorporation, a copy of memorandum of Association/understanding (MOU/MOA) are required for Business and Organization Accounts
Do you need to File your Documentation before Integrating Daraza?
No, you can sign up for an account, integrate and test out Daraza API using our Sandbox without necessarily filing your Documentation. You need only do so when you are ready to receive real payments.
How long Does it take to start receiving payments once documents are submitted?
Documentation Approval takes between 5 hours to 24 hours. Once this complete, your app will be ready to receive and carry out transaction according to your subscriptions plan?
Are there extra costs or fees involved in submitting Legal Documents or carrying out transaction?
You only pay a one-time subscription fees for your Business and that is it. Daraza will not charge or add any extra fees or commission to your transactions. You or your customer may only incur fees from your mobile money carrier-line service provider e.g MTN or Airtel Mobile Money
